Roger Federer Loss One Set

Champion five times in a row Roger Federer lost his first set at the U.S. Open tournament this year. Yet this is still top seed Lleyton Hewitt could be overcome and advanced to the fourth round.

Spent two hours 33 minutes, Federer lost the first set before winning the next three sets. World number one Swiss beat Hewitt in the final score 4-6 6-3 7-5 6-4.

Faced with opponents who had won at Flushing Meadows in 2001 that, Federer was not showing his best game. One other indicator is that he made up 59 unforced errors.
